PRIVACY POLICY

Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute is committed to protecting the privacy of research participants and their data.

GEMS+ will not save any information to your phone. Any data you chose to share will be encrypted and securely stored behind the Kaiser Permanente (KP) firewall, where it will only be used for research.

We cannot guarantee the security of electronic information. As added precautions, we recommend you do not share highly personal information in the app and that you use a PIN or other security feature (e.g., Touch ID or Face ID biometric security) on your phone.

Additional privacy details are included in the Informed Consent document you were provided when you joined this study.
