Matson presents on cannabis use disorder

Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI) Collaborative Scientist Tessa Matson, PhD, presented about cannabis use disorder screening, diagnosis, and treatment in primary care for the University of Washington School of Public Health. At a December Lunch & Learn Session, Matson discussed the need for validated measures to help primary care providers identify and treat cannabis use and use disorders. 

Lozano speaks at AcademyHealth event

KPWHRI Senior Investigator Paula Lozano, MD, MPH, was invited to speak at a December AcademyHealth webinar on supporting the workforce needs of learning health systems. The event featured leaders of national centers of excellence that support the next generation of learning health system researchers. Lozano spoke about the CATALyST Scholars Program led by KPWHRI, with Kaiser Permanente Washington, the University of Washington, the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System, and the Washington State University College of Medicine.
